Okay not gonna lie, ...
5Okay not gonna lie, I did not have high hopes for this but I was SO pleasantly surprised! I have oily skin so foundations that claim they are “luminous” usually don’t work for me. Not this bad gal. I applied at 7in the morning with a beauty blender and set as normal, and by 7pm she was still standing strong! My oil didn’t break through, I wasn’t starting to look cakey or cray cray, and I wasn’t in desperate need of a touch up. She did good! I would describe this as medium full coverage but definitely buildable. The finish is almost a “satin” - not quite dewy but not quite matte. This still looked like skin but drastically improved. It didn’t settle into fine lines or amplify pores, I used with the Tatcha silk canvas primer and again with the Smashbox oily primer, both times she stayed nicely. I will say that they gotta do something about their naming convention, as it’s very misleading. Colors that say “cool” will then be described as “golden undertones”? So this is one to swatch in stores. I received free from influenster for testing purposes and I will be purchasing when I run out!

A nice change of pace
4I have dry skin with a very oily t zone. I've always used matte foundations to fight the oil but in turn it made my dry skin worse! This foundation is exactly what I was looking for! It's light weight but it covers what I want it to. It does require more powder throughout the day because of my oily spots and I did not find it transfer proof either (even after setting) so just be aware of that. Overall I'm very happy with it!

5I got this in a VoxBox a few weeks ago and I haven’t stopped using it since. It gives me the most beautiful natural glow but somehow still manages to last on my skin and look amazing all day! I only set my t zone with powder when I use this because the luminosity of this foundation is absolutely stunning. Also, I love that it lets my freckles show through, yet covers my redness. It’s the perfect amount of coverage for an every day foundation! I’m obsessed!!!

4I received this product as a free sample from Influenster to try and review. It actually came at the right time because I needed a new foundation so I was very excited to try it out. I tried it last night while I was getting ready for my two year anniversary dinner. I was trying to do a fancy but not too fancy makeup and I decided to try this Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation. After cleaning up and preparing my skin with primer, I applied the Anastasia Luminous Foundation using the Anastasia Beverly Hills brush that I got from Influenster. I got the color 210N - light skin with a neutral golden undertone and the A30 Pro Brush - Domed Kabuki Brush. I have normal to dry skin and no acne and I always look for a medium coverage foundation with a natural finish because I prefer less makeup in my daily routine. This is a liquid foundation and I prefer if it were a bit thicker because when I apply it, it takes a while for my skin to absorb it and I can see the brush marks and then I have to use a sponge to fix it. The good thing about this foundation is that it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, I actually forgot that I was wearing foundation and the thing I dislike about this foundation is that it’s too yellow and it’s not a natural finish as it claims. Maybe I’ll try a different color next time but I read some reviews saying that even the cool tones are too yellow so maybe they need to work on it. I would give it 4 stars because it’s a very nice formula but nothing new or different than the other foundations in the same price range. I would probably buy it but with a different color maybe, and I recommend you to try it in store before buying if you have a cold undertone skin so you can check if it’s too yellow for you or not. Also I really like the front of the package but I don’t really like the big ‘foundation’ name on the back.

3When I first applied this foundation I enjoyed the initial lay down of the product. It felt like there was nothing on my skin. It felt very weightless and it wasn’t overly luminous. I was a little concerned about that level of luminosity that this foundation was going to leave because I do have combo skin. Typically I like a natural or satin finish type of foundation. Given that this was provided to me for free for testing purposes I figured I would give the glowy finish a shot. I would apply this around 6am and then by about 12:00 pm I noticed my oils starting to come through. Which isn’t uncommon for me at the 6 hour mark. But what I didn’t like is that the foundation started to break up on my chin and transfer off. It got cakey and weird around my nose and it started to make me feel like a greaseball. I definitely think this formula is better for someone with dryer skin. I wanted to like it more than I did. The shade I got, 150W also seemed to be a little more on the cool tone side than warm. So it washed me out a little. Not a bad foundation but definitely not my favorite. And I wouldn’t purchase it on my own.

4A great foundation I tried after receiving in my Vox Box free! Looks smooth and stays on well after application. Thicker than what I’m used to, so it takes a little more effort to apply and spread evenly across entire face, but once it’s on it got a nice natural and glows finish.

5I love this foundation as a daily wear. Gives u a nice dewy fresh look, long lasting, and doesnt feel heavy or candy on your face.

I was super excited ...
1I was super excited to try this product, however I was extremely let down. Maybe it was just my skin type, but this did not work for me at all. Brought out every fine line and bumb on my face and made them extremely visible.
